He is indescribable...

that is all i can muster today... that GOD truly is indescribable... my words i use to try to describe Him fall to the ground and shatter into dust.

God blessed us with a little "new life" that went right along with our EASTER COUNTDOWN. AND if you want to give your kiddos one for Easter they ARE available. My boys and i found a moma cat and 4 absolutely beautiful baby kittens today under my porch... Elijah already named them.

The moma is "stinky" which i think is fitting since she smells as if she got in a fight with a skunk. And the babies he named... bitsy, bopsy, tickles, and herbert... i have no idea where he got those from... but his "dad" texted today and though i have permission to feed them i need to find all of them good homes.... so anybody interested?

look at this boys face...heart melting... this is "Bisty" this one really attached to Elijah

....awww please daddy... just one... :)

18 days left till easter....

in our egg today we read about ... OUR NEW LIFE THROUGH JESUS

Romans 8:1-8

1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit. 5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

Activity: You will need Toilet Paper. Wrap toilet paper tightly around the child from the feet up to the shoulders. Tell the child to try to walk across the room without breaking one piece of toilet paper. Share with them about how the toilet paper is like the law of God we can’t live without breaking it no matter how hard we try. That is why we need Jesus to help us.

Art Project: You will need a large disposable container, tape, a think seven inch paper, glue and red/pink paint. Cut 2 half an inch thick rings out of it. Make the rings into a large “S” by cutting and taping it together paint it and then glue it to the paper. Talk about the Sacrifice Jesus made for us and not just physically but spiritually what He did.

Food: Noodle shaped like an S on the plate. Read them the below verse before your meal time. From God’s word that you shared that morning…Romans 8 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Talk about the life of peace – deep and big happiness - God has for us if we yield control to Him – let Him be our boss
